A local driver-guide and a local tour guide are not the same When booking a private tour make sure you understand the difference and know in advance what you are paying for. A tour guide has a license, usually issued by the Region / State. He has passed exams and learned everything on the sites you will see. A guide can enter the historic sites with you and guide you. Of course, their services are an additional cost. A local driver does not have a license tour guide, has not taken exams and is not authorized to accompany you inside of a site to tell you about its story. Of course, their services will be cheaper. Many drivers are just as knowledgeable as a formal guide over the area's history. The difference, of course, is that they can give you information inside the vehicle and not inside the museum, sites, church, etc. as they could easily be fined by the police.

You should have received an automatic message to your booking / inquiry, if you can't find it, please check your spam box. In case you haven't received it, contact us at info@aroundvesuvio.com
